Amanda's Ark
May we find favour with you LORD, may You be a refuge in our distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat and may Your grace be forever upon us, amen.
ABOUT
Amanda's Ark is our home, which is shared with all the animals who climbed on board!
It all began when we became friends with our neighbours dogs, dog sitting, feeding snacks and sheltering them from the rain.
Next we fostered our first dog Tammy and rescued 2 more, Chico & Marley.
Now, we have a motley crew of dogs and a cat colony who have made our home their home and landed with their bum in the butter!
The dogs live in the front, share the house, enjoy mountain walks and go on holidays!!!
The cats live freely in the back and on the farm and mountain, have a selection of homes and safe access to our home via a catio!!!
We cook fantastic food for all the animals 3 times a week and take care of their every need to the absolute best of our ability.
We live on faith, prayers, miracles and blessings and are constantly amazed at the power, wisdom and grace of God's hand.
Lastly, we also rescue, re-home and raise funds for all those who cross our path who are neglected, abused or at risk of euthanasia.
This work is deeply humbling and it is a privilege to have the opportunity to make a profound difference to the lives of so many.
Every single Soul I have touched is etched on my heart forever and you can read each animal's story in the Hall of Faith.
My heart's desire is to share everything we have learned to educate, motivate & inspire and we invite you to become part of our family!
