Encouragement, Education & Edification

I write this post with great love in my heart in the hope that it will touch all those who need to hear these words of encouragement, education and edification.

Faith is an untapped, unstoppable and universal force that is available to everyone who employs wisdom, discernment and right action.

In this way, the faith of a mustard seed is sufficient to cause mountains to move, seas to part and water to pour forth from a rock.

No matter the goal, no matter the challenge and no matter the perceived level of difficulty, nothing is too big for God.

And if you don't believe in God, now is a good time to start, even the demons believe there is one God - and shudder. (James 2:19)

God Is REAL

Despite the fact that God has been relegated to a conspiracy theory, nothing could be further from the truth.

God is REAL, His word is alive and active.

Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

With faith and action, all things are possible, but people need to raise their faith as their view of God is too small.

I have always shown up and done the work, to the best of my ability, leaving no stone unturned, but it is God who has gone before me, prepared the way and provided the miracles.

If You Are Willing, God Is Willing

I have come to realise that if you are willing, God is willing, and nothing is too much for Him.

Something magical happens when you combine faith with action as doors that you never even knew existed are opened.

When you show up with a full heart and a willingness to do whatever it takes, for however long it takes, in any way that is required, supernatural assistance is given.

In my experience, God puts it on the right person’s heart to help and the people that come forward together with their offerings never cease to amaze me.

The miracles I have experienced include:

  • The rescue and re-homing of hundreds of animals that were deemed "impossible" to perfect homes;
  • Perfect foster homes for animals in need of urgent support;
  • Financial support for vet bills, boarding fees and all manner of healthcare;
  • R35,000 raised within 24 hours for my cat Dotty contributed by people who aren’t animal lovers who think I’m crazy;
  • R8,000 raised within 3 days for rescue dog Haylo for vet bills;
  • R5,000 per month in Sponsorship by 2 donors in 3 days who sponsored a family in need and boarding fees for their 3 huskies for several months;
  • Financial provision for all my animals and all my rescues including food, staff and health care;
  • Financial provision of a Sponsor who offered to sterilise all my cats in my colony;
  • The building of my house and everything I have built for the animals with no traditional income;
  • Fulfilling work where I am able to utilise all my skills and make a difference to the lives of so many.

Faith & Action

I realised years ago that my own power and might was limited and no longer works, now, I live by faith and I take action daily.

Sometimes I have so much on my shoulders that I can barely move, sometimes I crawl on my knees and sometimes I can’t face getting out of bed as the burden feels so great.

But I never quit, I never surrender, I never stop, I never lose faith and I always keep going, regardless of how hard things might sometimes seem.

I know wholeheartedly that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

When I falter, I raise my faith, when I’m weak, I ask God for strength, and when I struggle to get anywhere and nothing seems to be working, I hand everything over to God and lay it all at His feet; letting go and letting God is a constant practice.

Let Go & Let God

The more we let go and let God, the more He comes to our aid.

The more we step aside, the more He leads.

The more we follow, the easier the journey.

In our own power and might we can do very little, ego and fear are our biggest enemies.

I have come to learn that we live in blessing and that we owe everything to God’s grace.

Fear Is Not of God

Fear is the enemy’s way of gaining control.

Fear edges God out.

Fear leaves no room for miracles.

Fear destroys what faith creates.

Fear is not of God.

The Antidote To Fear Is Faith

What good is it, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. (James 2:14-18)

So take courage, put your best foot forward and prepare to be shown the secrets of the universe, which are only revealed to those who truly seek, knock and ask.
